Dan's Ryan PT-22 is one of the original aircraft used for instruction at Eagle Field and he has maintained it in pristine condition since he restored it. He has contributed to the Dinner Dances by bringing her from his home base on the other side of the hill for many years.
Thought you might like to reply to him since he is currently working in Guam. Got this from him this morning.

Hello Eagle Field, this is Dan Collier writing. Hello from Guam!!
I just dialed by your website and looking
at it made me a little homesick
for some Ryan flying and your great annual get-togethers.
I am looking
forward to when I will be able to attend them again in a couple
of years.
I noticed you were soliciting photos
for your website, and I thought of
the one attached. As you may know, This Ryan was based at
your flying
school during the war, and this photo was taken at Eagle Field at
the
moment of touchdown upon my arrival there a couple of years ago
during one
of your reunions. The photo was taken by Sam Koskela, and
is my favorite, and I
thought you would like to throw it in with your collection.
We are enjoying Guam and the surrounding
islands, and last month we
went to the nearby island of Tinian to look at the old abandoned
North
Field, which was the field where the Enola Gay was based.
The field is
very quiet now, and is almost covered over by the boonedocks today.
Also,
there is a WWII F-4U Corsair in the Guam jungles on the navy base.
It is
well-hidden, but on the map, and it took a hike through the jungle
to see
it, but it was worth the effort. What a strange and wonderful
sight to see
an old warbird in the middle of the jungles!!
Please say hi to Joe Davis
for me! Regards, Dan Collier
